We met up for lunch and headed to Victoria Station; a restaurant famous for their steaks and seafood in Penang (and also in KL).
This is not my first time visiting this restaurant, as this is one of my favorite venues for western dining as they serve a wide variety of seafood dishes.
The unique part about this restaurant is how they designed the whole restaurant to look like a train; with the cabins.
It is truly a very conducive and delightful place to enjoy food and catching up with friends and family.
(I forgot to take note of the dishes we ordered; therefore, just enjoy the pics and my description:)
We were served garlic toast as starters
The bread was lightly warm like it just came out of the oven (or toaster), which was to our liking :)
Next we had this smoked salmon sandwich as our appetizers
Toasts on the left, and slices of smoked salmon with salad as sides for us to make our own sandwiches.
I loved the fresh taste of the smoked salmon (but I have tasted even better smoked salmon!)
The toasts were light brown in color and were not too hard nor too soft; just nice and the way we liked it.
I can't remember the name of this; but I think it was the Catch of the Day? (RM26.90)
Salmon and fillet steak (RM35.90)
This is actually a very filling portion, by the way!
Seafood platter
This is filled with fried calamari, fish fillet (fish & chips style), prawns, scallops...truly a plateful of seafood delights, YUMZ!
It's good for sharing too ;)
I loved dining here, but I don't do that often; I don't want to get sick of my favorite food too, do I?;)
Thanks Sumi, for the lovely meal, and for the gift too ;)
It sounds as though the company was as delightful as the food. Your photos made me hungry. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
