For a lovely evening meal, he brought me to the most expensive hotel in Penang; the newly renovated Rasa Sayang Hotel.
We went to Spice Market for an exciting International Buffet which seemed to have attracted lots of diners.
We arrived there at about 6.45pm and there was already a large crowd.
Braised Beancurd with mushrooms (the tofu was really nice!! Soft and delicate!!)
Priced at RM192 for 2 pax,there is really a wide array of choices; from simple salads to rojak, satay to even Chinese noodles, Indian cuisine, Japanese sushi and sashimi to exclusive seafood like lobsters, crab, fresh prawns and fish. One of the widest spread of food I have seen so far....and I enjoyed myself thoroughly there:)
But really, tough time selecting what to eat, even for PickyEater!!!:D

There was a live band performing and again, DearDear was so sweet to want to ask them to sing me a birthday song but there were a lot of people.
When I was leaving, they WERE singing a birthday song for another lady..LOL!
I truly loved and enjoyed every minute of my birthday dinner, thank you so much DearDear!!
Expensive but I really appreciate all the effort...so sweet!!

wow, almost RM100 per person...but the buffet spread was impressive! got middle eastern somemore! a lovely dinner with the loved one...so nice!

the place is nice, i can see a lot of food, i think it worth for paying 100 to eat so many food.
