I have been there 3 times since it opened (sorry it took me so long to post this up:)
My first time was the funniest; we have been passing by this place almost every evening and noticed the large crowd there.
Therefore we decided to try it out one fine evening and a quick glance at the notice board misled us to think it was only Rm9.90.
Haha...we missed the 1 before it; it costs Rm19.90 per pax:)
Anyway, it was still worth it; based on the wide variety they have; from raw to cooked and even dim sum and pastries, salads and snacks, and also desserts and fruits.
They have Chinese tea range and cordial drinks too!!
This is the first ever steamboat buffet I have seen which serve Dim Sum as well:)
They have the inner section and the outer section; can accommodate up to 20+ tables.
The cooking pot:)
We opted for the dual soup; clear and spicy tomyam soup with a divider in the intersection.
Vegetables section and noodles
There were about 7-8 choices of vegetables; ranging from Napa cabbage, spinach, kangkung, etc.
The stretch of food section
Dim Sum
Raw materials
Fishballs, meatballs, sausages, seafood
Seafood and poultry
Mushrooms
Staff preparing the food
Fish
Food on our plates
Our drinks
The best part about steamboat is you cook all of your food at the same time and voila, you can eat them once it's bubbly and steaming!:)
Dessert was jelly cocktail pudding
Pretty greenish in colour:p
Only at Rm19.90 per pax; it is by far the most enjoyable steamboat experience in Penang town:)
