Metro Prima Hawker Delights

Another family dinner last week...
Went to the Metro Prima food court; which was also reputedly named as the new Glutton Square....replacing the old one which is now pretty deserted and quiet.
This food court offers more variety and had very nice and brighter lighting. Also they had those air condenser or dispenser thing which continuously blows from the big fan; keeping the air cool.
Mum and Dad wanted to bring me there to introduce a new Fish Paste Noodle...something which we tried and liked from an old Taman Sri Sinar foodcourt which was closed in a short period previously.
The fish paste noodle stall....also selling pork noodles...
So, Mum and Dad ordered the Fish Paste Noodle and Meehoon(RM3.50) and also a separate bowl of Fish Paste alone; costs about RM3.50 per bowl.
The fish paste was not bad; but quite small pieces....and the texture was quite smooth; with some small slices carrots in it. They even included some seaweed and vegetables in the fish paste soup.....
Bro ordered this; the Chicken Wanton Noodle(RM4.50).....I think he mentioned it was so-so only...
Getting ready to eat.....
Side order....Fried Oyster...or Oyster Omelette...Or Chien in Hokkien...
The Or Chien in KL is of the dried fried nature whereas in Penang the Oyster Omelette is not too dry with a little rubbery texture due to the generous corn starch encovering the oysters and the eggs.
We used to like one Mongolian guy who was selling this in a coffeeshop near Sri Bintang; near our neighbourhood but he went off back to his homeland.
Anyway....dinner was simple. This place, though was a hawker food centre, was actually quite neat and well-kept...it's near the newly opened Carrefour and opposite the Jusco shopping centre...quite a lot of people especially at night....the night owls:P
