When we talk about Christmas dinner, do we refer to the Christmas Eve dinner or the Christmas Day dinner itself?
PickyEater confuses herself sometimes...it's actually the Christmas Day dinner since everyone is home for the family reunion although they are usually home on the Eve.
Well, my family usually have dinners almost every day when everyone is at home.
Dad always tells us that it is important for the family to eat together....therefore, we have reunion dinners everyday:)
So, continuing from the nice luncheon in the afternoon, Mum cooked again...some of the dishes were repeated; so don't get bored ya:p
Again....raw materials...not processed yet.....
Long beans...cubed...now this is new....:pFinely chopped tau kua...bean curd....
Cooked shrimps
And put them together.....look at this....Mum calls it the "Tau Kok Lup" (Long bean Cubes)
But PickyEater thought up a nicer name.....Beans Island....since there's the bean curd and also long beans, and there's some seafood and carrot cubes as well.....
Ooo....this was quite nice....haven't had this for some time....grandma used to cook this when she was still around.....I think you can find this when you eat out; usually they also come with some Kacang Putih fried together with the beans.....
I still prefer Mum's version...with shrimps and fish cakes, carrots....:p
Mixed Vege....re-served....hahaha.....still tastes good anyway!!Thumbs up for Mummy:)

And they still finished it....sighhh, I am so good....*Proud* I should probably get a patent or copyright for this....best best bestest salad....and that's MINE:p
