Shabu shabu (Day 2)

*Sobs* I was so shy to take pics of the lunch provided by our business partners....it was nice by the way, and I kinda regretted it:(
We were invited for dinner with them after work...and they brought us to Shabu shabu in Daejeon town
*I thought Shabu shabu was popular only in Japan?

Anyway, nothing special...just some normal steamboat...
Look at the pics and you will know

They ordered an assortment of seafood and meat for everyone's liking...

The sauces...the one on the left is to go with the meat; the chilli sauce for anything and the last one is for seafood

Some sashimi with seaweed

The first round; vegetables

The people here are weird.; they cook it and then serve you and pile everything into your bowl; without asking whether you want that much of a portion or not...*frustrating*

Look at how much they piled into my little bowl!!! *Grrrr*

Some vege wrappings with rice to go with the beef

Sorry, forgot the pics of the seafood which was cooked before the beef; the waitress shocked me by another load into my plate...
Anyway, the seafood here also scared me; looks weird...I only dared to try the steamed scallops...the rest; are too humongous and monstrous shell food:p

Like I said...nothing special right?
Even Jesline said that our local steamboat (or homecooked) is much much better:p
