Vegetarian

It is once again the time of the year for the vegetarians' fest in observation of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival which I have blogged about last year here
I was back in KL (YEAY!) and Mum practised this 9-day vegetarian observation whereby the whole family will sort of join her for her meals:)

In Penang, you will see most vegetarian stalls flagged with yellow cloths to signify they are safe to eat and are meant for the festival. Mum says they are pretty strict during this month as this is a religious abstinence.
In KL, you will need to make do with Vegetarian stalls marked Vegetarian:p
