Anyway, we ended up in Ideal Avenue, near Bukit Jambul.
I have been around this place for some time but I don't think I have tried any restaurants here yet. I was thinking of Jap food (again!) and we decided to check out the Japanese restaurants they have around here; which happens to be more than a few!
I finally set my eye on this Ichyo Ramen which had quite an extensive selection on their menu and then, ended our agonizing hunt:p
Pretty nice environment
I was entertained by the Tom&Jerry cartoon on the little screen at our table:D
(Yeah, they have this little screens installed at almost every table next to the wall:)
The drinks area...
And this is the alcoholic drinks..haha, the Sake area
To the food, we were served these appetizers upon sitting down
Pasta stuffs...macaroni in salad sauce and mixed with green peas and carrots in the other bowl
Standard - green tea for my soul:D
Nice chopsticks:)
And this was something he ordered...hehe...or I asked him to order as it seemed weird that we are in a ramen house and not try out ramen.
I don't like noodles but just curious...hehe
This - the seafood ramen(RM15 or 16)...moderately spicy (we were asked on the level we wanted!)
There were cod fish fillets in it...lots of them...really nice!:D
Ramen wise, just like Maggi Mee...LOL:p
Next, the Seafood teppanyaki(RM18)....(aren't we seafood lovers!:D )
Slightly battered in some spicy curry sauce and there were cod fish fillets again, mussels, prawns and calamari...ain't that nice:D
And how can I forget my fave Salmon Teriyaki? (RM14) I think...
Ermmm...this teriyaki sauce was actually kinda horrible....one of the worst I have tried...I don't really know how to describe...tasted like it was burnt or something:(
Total bill was about 56++, pretty reasonable for a seafood Japanese meal...but one thing's for sure, we OD on the ordering, too much food...and I am not of much help when it comes to food...hehe:D
Will put this place on my list when I want seafood stuffs at a reasonable price:)
I've been to certain eatery outlet in iAvenue, I don't think I've tried on this one... Thks for sharing....
