It was a traditional 8-course Oriental-style dinner; starting off with the appetizer, soup, mains and all the way to dessert.
Since this is my food blog where all that matters is food, I will post on the dishes served during the dinner:)
The first - appetizer; Four Seasons
Top from right: The marinated baby octopus (cold dish), crabmeat with seaweed rolls, mango kerabu, and lastly, spicy chicken wrapped in banana leaf.
I only tried the kerabu; coz I can't take the others:p
Another conventional tradition; braised shark's fin soup
Another of my no-take; so cruel!! Say no to Shark's fin...hehe, no offense:p
My jee mui took my bowl:)
3rd Dish - Braised Chicken with mushrooms
4th Dish - Sauteed Tiger Prawns
The prawns were quite fresh (surprisingly:)
5th Dish - Steamed Seabass with Thai sauce
6th Dish - Glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaves (Hor Yip Fan)
7th Dish - Dessert (Honey Dew with Sago and Vanilla Ice-cream)
Ooops...I forgot to take the pic as I was feeling quite dizzy towards the end:(
is the food nice???
