Thong Sui

Dad bought some desserts the other day from a shop in Maluri just for fun:)

The wheat dessert or more popularly known as Bubur Gandum...
Mum preferred the one in Penang which was cooked with brown sugar and it's usually more fragrant and tasty:)

But the red bean soup was nice and the lotus seeds, my favourite!:D
Pretty popular in Hong Kong too:D

    Oh I can't believe I've never heard of red bean with lotus seeds :P Looks good. I absolutely adore tong sui. Just had bubur gandum which my mom slow cooked and now I'm pestering her to make me bubur pulut hitam before I go back KL. Hehe

    But somehow recently when I went back to KL, there were so many thong sui each day...so those were the pics I have in camera:D
