Siang Hai Dim Sum

Don't be misled by the title; it's not any unique Shanghai Dim Sum; just the name of this Chinese breakfast restaurant located in Abu Siti Lane:)

Our food....or dim sum:)
This is not Siew Mai; it's actually Har Mai (shrimp dumplings)...

So so only; tasted a bit bland to me:p

The Har Kao (prawn dumplings)

Not bad; medium sized prawns:)

Another version of the prawn dumplings....haha, reddish skin...coz of the inclusion of carrot strips. By the way, these prawn dumplings actually have water chestnut slices in them too:D

Fishball....

Very fishy; guess it's homemade; can smell and taste the fish distinctly...there's even scales...yikes:p

One more Har Kao....different; this was with the water chestnut; the other wasn't...

Can't remember but one of them tasted bland:p

Our orders...5 dishes...too much lar...

DearDear over-ordered this time:p

Total bill came up to RM15.70; still reasonable for dim sum range lar but pricey for this town area though:p

Okay, I was trying to project the size of the shrimp in the dim sum; guess due to my lousy skills in photography, I failed miserably:p
