This place can be seen from the road leading to the Tanjung Bungah and Batu Ferringhi area...not too far off after the first traffic light junction after the Island Plaza; and located near the Chinese Steamboat Restaurant.
There's quite a number of stalls here; but guess we were early or maybe the certain day, some of the stalls were closed...bummer...
You can find almost anything you want here; all the local hawker food; you name it, they have it here...from Koay Teow Th'ng to Sar Hor Fun to Popiah to Or Chien....laksa, and even Malay Tomyam!
There's even a variety of ice blended drinks; away from the normal herbal drinks:)
Cool ler...
DearDear ordered the Iced Mango drink
And mine, the Ice blended Soursop....
They are both different but both priced at Rm2.50...
I didn't really like it; not pure soursop and it tasted too sweet; like it was poured out of some cordial drink bottle or something:(
I regretted my orders when I saw barley..and they have those barley bits in them!!:(
Our food; this was the Seafood Mee Hoon Soup....RM6
There's even mantis prawns in it; 3 prawns, plenty of fish fillets...not bad lar:)
Quite reasonable for so much stuffs...
Soup was clear and plain:)
And this is the Fish Maryland...RM6...
Pretty reasonably priced for such a big portion...
There's even ham and fried pineapple...and sausage....
Very deeply fried and crispy...I don't really like too crispy stuffs and deeply fried...weird right:p
And I find it a tad too oily also...
Guess this could be one that caused me to be sick:p
I even saw a couple arguing and the guy was turning violent; he was banging his hand on the table...and he was really turning red...
There was a boy between the couple; their son I think; about 5-6 years old and he looked so pitiful; must be really scared stiff....
Sighs, some people, why can't they just fight at home or at least among themselves...why do you wanna traumatize the kid? This will really affect his growth and he may turned out to be like his dad in the future...sighs...
Guess this is one of the scenario to be expected when going to hawker centres...
