Anyway, we still went out for breakfast before I go to church and we ended up at this Red Tea Garden Dim Sum centre located on Macalister Road.
Previously we often frequent the branch in Farlim and now, we decided to try this out
Usually there's a lot of people on weekends; but probably due to the weather, there was not much of a crowd last Sunday.
It's usually self-service on weekends and public holidays but hehe, not a lot of people, so we were served:)
Har Gao...
So-so only....the shrimps were really a small clump only..
Siew Mai...
Also, nothing to wow about, DearDear just said it's on the average:p
Har Gao with scallops
Nothing to wow about...
Another thing to note; most of the seafood dim sum they have over there in Farlim, here, they mix it with meat already...bummer...
And the shrimps here are much smaller and not so tastier...:(
We tried out their vege kueh; Chai Kueh...
DearDear chose the Mengkuang Kueh over the chives one:)
Not bad lar; not too oily...
Bro loves chai kueh but not for me, I always find chai kueh a bit weird and they always make my throat uncomfortable after eating; maybe due to the cooking oil...
Forgot this fishball pic...hehe...
So so lar...rather spongy..not like the type of fishballs I like:(
Overall price was quite cheap; RM12.60 for the dimsum....still okay considering most of the plates were seafood items:)
