It was famous for Curry Fish Head but they also serve other home dishes...
Air conditioned; it's actually a corner lot and it's a newly painted Kampung House style of restaurant but it's owned by Chinese...just one of those old conventional houses around:)
They were quick to attend to us; mainly coz we were the first customer.
The place was quiet and as we pulled out our chairs, we could hear the sound of the creaking of the chairs...ooo...felt we were so noisy...LOL!:D
Most of the folks here were ladies....
The funniest part was they recommended their famous curry fish head and we refused; haha....must be the first customer who wasn't here to try out their specialty...insult huh:p
Our drinks..their homemade Sugarcane with water chestnut drink...a freaking RM1.80 for this!!(when I saw the bill at the end!)
Not nice...so diluted!
Assam prawns...RM15
Only a couple of prawns anyway...and we actually, or I actually requested for the shell to peeled off; so they did so partially...
Average; not superbly delicious..DearDear said they usually eat the shells along with the prawns; that's how you take assam prawns...eeeeewwwww....
Not for me:p
Our green leafy vege...the Stir Fried Kale...RM7
Tasted normal...
And this is the 3rd dish....the steamed garoupa in Teochew style...
They gave us the tail part of the garoupa fish...for 2 pax....
and sliced it into 2 pieces for the ease of consumption...
tasted average...nothing to wow about...and costed us a freaking RM30.....so expensive lar...
Total bill came up to RM59....whoa....some think it's average for restaurant price...
For me...think the drinks were the most unworthy:p
