Breakfast bites

On Chinese New Year's Eve, it was really tough to find a place for breakfast in Penang.
Everywhere was either closed or really packed to the brim!
It was really frustrating as well; crossing out one by one off the list as we drove around when we reached Tai Thong; a place I have not been going for so long.
Nevertheless, we were relieved and settled immediately for our breakfast.
It was crowded and it was like an amazing race getting these plates on our table...

A lot of food; and costs about RM40++ for this hearty meal!
Seriously, I must definitely remind myself not to think of Chinese breakfast during the last few days approaching Chinese New Year;)

  9. Nowadays not to hard to find Chinese food during CNY season. Once upon a time, this time of year will mean plenty of fast food, nasi kandar or Malay chap-fan for me.

Btw, this Tai Thong is not from the Tai Thong group of restaurants but rather it was just one of the traditional and old Chinese dim sum restaurants in Penang town:)
