Most of my aunts came back to granny's house on the 2nd day; as part of the Chinese custom where married daughters join their own families for a New Year reunion cum gathering.
Fried Rice for mains
Fried Vermicelli (Bee Hoon)
Curry Chicken
Omelette
Sweet and sour fish fillet
My favourite!!!:D
Buttered Prawns
Satay (Chicken and pork on skewer)
Dessert
Jelly
And free flow of cordial drinks
This is definitely a simpler way of partying with your family members....hassle-free!:)
It's always happy to gather with family during Chinese New Year! Missing it now!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a good idea to cater.. no need buy, no need cook, and best of all no need clean up. Hehe. Is the buttered prawns stir fried with curry leaves? They are my fav!
