A touch of Rose

Sweet ginger soup base for the traditional glutinous rice balls (tang yuan) may not be unheard of, and the new variations of soy milk, or tea based soup are also starting to establish their base of popularity.
How about Rose Milk?
This new yet simple concoction just turned out to be so pretty that it definitely have my attention~

For some reason, there is just something so calming about this bowl of soup, and I am impressed with the idea of substituting the good ol' ginger soup with milk; and none other than a unique touch of rose petals and fragrance to the milk.
It sure revolutionized the traditional dessert into a fusion; with the notion of an Oriental dessert but with that exotic touch of a blooming flower; the beautiful rose - symbol of romance.

The rice balls were also served with a filling of red bean paste, which was quite a tasty combination.
