Jack's Place Revisited @ 1 Utama

One of the places serving nice western set lunches at a reasonable price is Jack's Place which originates from our neighboring country (Singapore).
They have 2 branches here; one in 1 Utama and the second outlet in Sunway Pyramid.

Recently I noticed they offer all 3 variants of set lunches; fish, beef, chicken compared to their previous set lunches where they only have fish on alternate days.

This is not the first time I have blogged about this place; and this being my mummy's favorite lunch venue, I don't suppose this will ever be my last time as well:)

Garlic bread is served while we wait for our lunches to be served or while we make our orders.

They serve assorted soups of the day and this was their mushroom soup for that day.

A little diluted and bland in taste

A glass of warm skyjuice always works to compliment my set lunches

This is one of the executive set lunches; Fish Gordon Bleu priced at RM19.90

It is deep fried to golden brown and crisp to perfection

They serve dory fish fillets as part of their daily set lunches.
Most of their set lunches are priced reasonably at RM15.00 (the price increased from the previous Rm13.90)

Dory fish fillets are always tender and succulent in taste; and is one of the favorite serving in western set lunches.

Chicken with rice

They have started serving most of their set lunches with pasta; either rice or spaghetti

I guess it's part of being in competition and innovative edge

Steaks are also priced at RM19.90 as well; deviating from the normal set lunches

No pictures of the desserts as it was usually either ice-cream (1 scoop) or pudding.
For a simple and reasonably priced and yet filling lunch, Jack's Place is not a bad option.
