Hawker food and open food courts are label brands carried proudly by Asians and definitely top the list for Malaysians. Stalls and food courts are growing everywhere in all areas.
Metro Prima is one of Kepong's most happening place and the Happy Food Court which was located strategically next to Carrefour and opposite Jusco added to the bustle.
There are more than 20+ stalls in this food court; selling an assorted variety of hawker food.
Lam Mee is one of our local food which was made famous in Penang.
It is basically some thick yellow noodles cooked in clear soup broth with some chicken slices, mushroom, shrimps and vegetables.
Claypot Yee Mee (ready-made fried noodles) cooked in hot soup with shrimps, mushrooms, meat, fish cakes, cubed onion springs etc.
Pan Mee; flat and thin rice noodles cooked either with dry soy sauce or in soup
Popiah is made of a thin layered roll stuffed with healthy cooked vege rolled into it.
Grilled food never fails to gain a spot in any food court and the typical ikan bakar remains the local favorite.
For a twist, the grilled sotong (squids) is not a bad choice as well!
And a refreshing bowl of Leng Chee Kang or Lotus seed soup will always be a great option to cool off those spicy food!
