Prior to my business trip, I attended a couple of trainings in Sheraton Subang Hotel & Towers and the following was the buffet lunch we enjoyed at their main coffee house; Terraza (located on the lower ground floor)
It was an international buffet; offering an array of delectable local dishes and also a fusion of cultural dishes.
The boiling soup and dumplings placed directly in the main entrance's direction was a warm welcome against the chill due to the air-conditioning in the hotel conference rooms.
There was a cabinet holding all the wine bottles near the entrance
Starters, appetizers, cold dishes ranging from salads to finger bites are available on the nicely arranged plates
A variety of cold dishes
On the other side of the salads were the tempting line of desserts which was finishing off quite fast
Cute little mocha heart-shaped cakes
Black Forest cake
Blackcurrant pudding (this was really nice:)
Strawberry and peach cake
Fresh fruit cake
Sago cake (this was being wiped off the plate like hot cakes)
There was a separate booth for grilled meat and kebab
Moving to the main line, there is a row of fresh seafood
Types of dressings and toppings
Probably we were late; most of the mains were polished by the other patrons
Indian variety - roti canai, tosai, capati
Local delights - Malaysian kueh
The variety here may not be comparable to those of 5-star hotels with the huge and really wide selection, but I find tastewise, it was average and the selection was pretty enticing as well.
Worth a try; if anyone knows the price per pax, do drop me a note as I forgot how much it cost.
